Description

Nederburg Merlot is a blend of grapes that were sourced from top-performing vineyards located in the Darling, Cape Town and Stellenbosch wine-growing areas. The vines are grown in granite and sandstone soils with good water-holding capacity, resulting in grapes with a higher natural acidity and resulting freshness. These grape varieties constitute 96.1% Merlot while other varieties are 3.9%. which contribute to a well-balanced flavour and better tannin structure of the Nederburg Merlot.
