Glenmorangie Nectar dOr

It is a 12-year-old single malt Scotch whisky, known for its rich, spicy, and dessert-like flavors derived from finishing in hand-selected Sauternes wine casks. It is initially aged in ex-bourbon casks before being transferred to the Sauternes barriques. This finishing process creates a whisky with notes of citrus, coconut, almonds, and nutmeg, with a long, sweet finish. 

Tasting Notes of Glenmorangie Nectar dOr

Aroma: Lime and orange rind, sultanas and dates give a rich fruity flavor laced with tantalising spices of coconut and nutmeg. Taste: Ginger, nutmeg and toasted almonds bring a deep, warming taste interwoven with a syrupy lemon meringue and honeycomb middle. Finish: Long and lusciously sweet finish with lemon zest, white chocolate, vanilla and traces of ginger and nutmeg.
