Description
This Moscato, conceived and vinified in the sparkling version, aims to best express the typical aromatic heritage of this ancient vine, preserving the delicacy and subtlety of its original aromas. Hence a fermentation at a strictly controlled temperature and a second fermentation capable of not overpowering, with the carbonic impact, the slenderness and extreme fragrance of the whole. At sight it presents itself in all its bubbly joyfulness of a beautiful pale straw yellow color, with light greenish reflections that hint at its youth and exuberance at first glance. Upon olfactory examination it denotes a notable fragrance, very well integrated and fused with the terpene notes, which enhances its classic and typical citrus scents. The notes of white flowers and musk are also very elegant, which also precisely refer to the classic varietal expressions. When drunk it presents a clear freshness that is excellently contrasted with the sugar and glycerine components. Acidity even more highlighted by the fact that the final taste, which is decidedly long for a Moscato, sees the effect of the sugars almost interrupted to give way to a calibrated and very pleasant salivation.
PAIRINGS
Pleasant not only with classic end-of-meal preparations (such as classic leavened desserts or fried ones) but with cured meats with a good sweetness in terms of fat and a light salty impact, as well as delicate and creamy foams. The awards won by Valdiserre at an international level (in this case at the world competition Muscats du Monde) demonstrate the value and universality now acquired by this wine.
