The juices of all grapes are white except for certain uncommon grape varieties. The color of rosé wine comes from the fermentation of grape juice with the presence of the grape skin for a very short time and then the juice is drawn off to finish the fermentation alone. Some are made with both grapes for making red and white wines though there are other various methods of making rosé wines.
