Bacardi Gold (now known as Bacardi Carta Oro) is a light-bodied, golden rum aged for one to two years in charred American white oak barrels, giving it a soft oak flavor and notes of vanilla, butterscotch, toasted almonds, and tropical fruit. It is double-filtered through charcoal for smoothness and is suitable for sipping neat, on the rocks, or for use in classic cocktails like the Cuba Libre or Rum and Cola.
