Description

Camino Real Gold Tequila is a golden-amber colored tequila with a distinct, mild flavor and aroma of blue agave. It gets its color from being aged in oak barrels, which also adds a light, bitterish-sweet undertone to the taste. The tequila is made using blue agave grown at high altitudes (2,000 meters above sea level), which is reflected in the name “Camino,” meaning “high” in Spanish. It can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in cocktails like Margaritas, Mojitos, or Tequila Sunrises. 

Tasting notes of Camino Real Gold Tequila

Color: Warm gold with amber reflections.
Nose: Soft aromas of roasted agave, vanilla and a hint of oak as well as sweet caramel notes.
Taste: Full-bodied and balanced with a blend of sweet agave, cinnamon, vanilla and a subtle hint of wood and pepper. The taste is rich and complex, yet round and not too spicy.
Finish: Long and smooth with a pleasant blend of sweet and woody notes that gently envelop the palate.

Camino Real Gold Tequila is ideal for drinking straight, especially at room temperature or slightly chilled to enjoy its velvety texture and complex flavors. It is also an excellent ingredient in tequila cocktails such as the Tequila Sunrise, Margarita or Paloma, where its agave-based sweetness comes into its own.
